Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026. This page explains what information London Art Notes collects, how cookies may be used, and the choices you have.

Overview

London Art Notes is published by Amelia Ward, independent publisher This policy applies to all pages of the site. We have written it to be as plain as possible: the site itself is simple, and our privacy approach is simple too.

Information we collect

The site does not actively collect personal information from visitors. There are no accounts, no contact forms, no newsletters and no logins on this site, and we do not ask for your name, email address or location. If you email us at hello@londonartnotes.net, we receive the information you choose to send, and we use it only to reply to your message.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. The site does not set its own cookies at present. If third-party advertising services are added in the future, those services may place cookies on your device to make advertising more relevant, to measure the performance of ads, and to prevent you from seeing the same ad repeatedly. These cookies are set by the advertising provider, not by us.

Third-party advertising data

We may, in the future, work with third-party advertising services such as Google AdSense to display ads on the site. These services use cookies to collect anonymised data about your visits to this and other websites, and use that data to serve ads based on your interests. The data collected is used in accordance with the advertising provider's own privacy policies, and we do not receive any personally identifiable information from it.

Your choices and opting out

You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them. If advertising is added to the site, you can opt out of personalised advertising through the Google Ads Settings page, which can be found by searching for "Google Ads Settings" in your browser. You can also visit the opt-out page operated by the advertising industry, or use the settings offered by your device or browser. Opting out of personalised ads does not stop ads from being shown; it simply means the ads you see will be less tailored to you.

Data security

Because the site does not collect personal data, there is little data to protect. The limited information you send by email is treated as confidential, used only for the purpose you intend, and retained no longer than necessary. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to keep that correspondence safe.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly. Parents or guardians with concerns may contact us at hello@londonartnotes.net.

Third-party links

Articles on this site may mention venues, stations and services by name. Where we describe how to find them, we do so in plain text rather than with external links, and we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of any third-party websites you may visit as a result. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in the site or in the law. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on this page for a reasonable period.
