About Us
About London Art Notes
An independent guide to London's art world, written for first-time visitors and regulars alike — with no sponsored favourites and no filler.
What this site is
London Art Notes covers the capital's art scene the way a good walking companion would: galleries, museums, artist profiles and longer essays, each one based on real visits and public information. We are not a listings site and we do not try to cover everything. We write about the rooms and studios we actually went to, and we say what we think of them.
How the guides are made
Every route on this site starts with a visit. We go at the times we recommend, we pay the same tickets you pay, and we write in our own words afterwards. Opening times, admission prices and exhibition details are checked against official sources before publication, but things change — always confirm with the venue before you travel. Articles are signed by the editors because they are the result of the whole team's looking, not one byline.
Editorial independence
We do not accept payment for coverage, we do not run sponsored placements, and we never sell a mention. Venues do not see our pieces before publication and they do not get to approve them. The only commercial relationship on this site is the advertising that may appear in the future, and it will always be clearly separated from editorial content.
Corrections
We get things wrong, and when we do we fix them. If you spot an error, a closed gallery we missed or a price that has changed, write to us and we will correct the page and note the update. We update guides as venues change their hours and programmes, and every article carries its publication date so you know how fresh the information is.
